“River House” Housing Complex, Haskovo, Bulgaria
The complex is located near the Haskovska river and the main boulevard in the town of Haskovo. It consists of three buildings including 98 apartments, with one-, two- and three-bedroom units. The ground floor of the seven-storey building is entirely occupied by shops.
In the underground level, parking spaces are provided for all housing units. Wave-shaped roofs soften the silhouette of the buildings and, together with the non-standard glazing, create interesting interiors in the attic floors. Large shop windows, stone cladding at ground level and timber cladding on the upper floors visually separate the different functions of the buildings.
