Coral Hotel

Coral Hotel is located on the southern Black Sea coast, in the area of Sozopol. The complex consists of six separate buildings for seasonal living with 98 one- and two-bedroom apartments. The buildings have a height of 10 m. At the entrance of the complex, next to the main road, there is an outdoor parking lot for 48 cars. The complex is designed with lots of greenery, and the ground-floor apartments have small private courtyards. Between the buildings there is a recreation area with an outdoor pool.

The composition of six volumes climbs the sloping site, with the top floors acting as viewing platforms over the bay. White painted exposed concrete, dark reflective glazing and timber decking recall the aesthetics of traditional sailing yachts, while the faceted facades are a stylised interpretation of coral and fractal forms.
