JYSK is an international home furnishing retailer with stores in more than 50 countries. The new distribution centre in Lelystad, the Netherlands, is JYSK’s 10th distribution centre worldwide and serves customers primarily in the Netherlands, Belgium, the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The plan includes logistics areas of just over 161,000 m² and an administration building of around 4,800 m², on a 25.6 hectare site. The DC consists of inbound and outbound logistics areas for shipping and distribution; transport areas for goods distribution; fully automated high-bay warehouses for palletised storage with a height of 43 m; a fully automated case warehouse for boxed storage; and an administration building with offices, meeting rooms, canteen, kitchen, changing rooms, fitness room and roof garden. Auxiliary technical buildings and facilities include sprinklers, water tanks and transformers.
