Distribution Centre and regional head office in Almenara, Spain
The international home furnishing retailer JYSK is building a new logistics complex and headquarters for Spain to support its expansion in the Iberian region. The new distribution centre in Almenara, south of Castellón, will supply products to stores and directly to customers in Spain and Portugal.
The plan includes logistics areas covering just over 131,000 m² on a site of 274,000 m². The complex consists of inbound and outbound logistics zones; transport areas for goods distribution; two fully automated high-bay warehouses for palletised storage with a height of 45 m and approximately 150,000 pallet spaces; a fully automated case warehouse for boxed storage; and an administration building housing JYSK’s headquarters for Spain and Portugal, with offices, meeting rooms, canteen, kitchen, changing rooms, fitness room and roof garden.
